TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SALE OF GOODS / PLACING AN ORDER
You can not buy online from the Julia Boston Kids website please get in touch by email or over the telephone. Alternatively you are always welcome in our shop on at 588 King's Road, London SW6 2DX. Once you have placed an order we will send you an email with a sales invoice in confirmation of what you have bought. Please read this carefully as any mistakes cannot be rectified later. We hope to normally have bespoke orders for name pictures or customised artwork ready for dispatch within a maximum of ten working days and would get in touch by telephone or email if there was any unforeseen longer delays. For non-bespoke orders we hope to have them ready for dispatch with in 7 days.
These conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale of goods by Julia Boston Kids to the Customer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions including any terms and conditions which the buyer may purport to apply under any purchase order, confirmation of order or similar document.
All orders for goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the Customer to purchase goods pursuant to these conditions. Acceptance of delivery of the goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Customers acceptance of these conditions. Any variation to these conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by Julia Boston Kids
The display of goods on the Julia Boston Kids website amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell goods or products at any price indicated. No contract will be deemed to exist between the Customer and Julia Boston Kids unless confirmation has been sent by Julia Boston Kids and payment has cleared. Julia Boston Kids are free to withdraw from any prospective contract prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in the price and description of any goods.
PRICES
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication, are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP). You will be responsible for the payment of any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country.
Bespoke artwork is quoted for depending on complexity and originality. For all enquiries please either email us at info@juliabostonkids or telephone us at +44 (0) 207 610 6783 to discuss what you would like.
PAYMENT
Julia Boston accepts payment by Bank Transfer or by credit or debit card over the telephone for the full invoice amount. (Please note that we do NOT accept American Express accept for online purchases) Please note also that we do not accept the sending of credit card details by email. This is not a secure method of transferring information and we do not accept any responsibility, and cannot provide a guarantee, for the safety of any sensitive details sent to us by this method.
We do not hold any credit card details after a transaction has gone through
Julia Boston must receive payment in full before goods can be either collected or dispatched. Bespoke orders for Children's name pictures or any other bespoke art work needs to be fully paid for in advance before creation and can not be either returned or cancelled once started.
Please ensure that you include either an order number or sales invoice number as the payment reference.
DELIVERY
We hope to be able to dispatch your order with in 5 working days of receipt of payment. We have endeavored to choose both reliable and reasonable methods of either postage or shipment. Alternatively goods can always be collected from our shop at 588 King's Road London SW6 2DX
Please note that for deliveries to countries outside the EU there could be import duties or taxes for which, you, the customer will be liable.
DAMAGE TO GOODS IN TRANSIT
Damage must be notified in writing within ten days of the date of delivery. In the event of the non-delivery of the whole or part of the consignment, the Customer must notify Julia Boston within ten days of the date of dispatch. Failing such notification the Customer shall be liable for the value of the consignment in the event that the carrier will not accept any claims.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RETURNS
For sales orders taken by phone or any other distance method the Customer may, under certain circumstances, have a right to cancel under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If the goods are stock items and not bespoke or specially made to order then the Customer can cancel the order and return goods to Julia Boston Kids within 10 working days starting from the day of delivery. Goods must be returned to Julia Boston Kids at the Customer’s expense, be unused, and undamaged. The Customer shall be responsible for any damage caused in transit during return and should ensure adequate insurance. Upon safe receipt of the goods a refund will be issued which will include the original cost of delivery. Customers wishing to return items must immediately notify us in writing by e-mail to info@juliabostonkids.com
ARTISTIC INTERPRETATION.
Julia Boston Kids reserves the right to ‘artistic license’. We will always try and produce what you require and would like but we cannot always guarantee to interpret your wishes exactly, it is therefore important when ordering bespoke art work.
COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Julia Boston shall retain the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in respect of all the logos, designs, drawings and paintings appearing on the Julia Boston Kids website. The copying or reproducing in any form of any of the logos, designs, drawings or paintings would be in breach of copyright.
